What resolution should I use:

Please use a maximum resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. Please use the medium to low-high quality compression (which means moderate filesize, medium compression). Different program produce different output. Recommended filesize is to have your video use an =< 4mb/minute. Our recommend program to convert videos is ffmpeg.

What audio sampling rate should I use:

For music files - 128kbit, ,44100Hz Joint Stereo, MP3 format.

For audio recording of speech(e.g. conferences, radio broadcasts, speeches) - Bitrate of 32, Mono and a Sample frequency of 32. Our recommend program to convert audio files is LAME.

If you have problems with this form(e.g. files are too large, too many media files to submit, not convinient) you can e-mail the media to submissions(at)uktor.com or e-mail us a request that we will enable an ftp access for you.

Accepted file extensions are: mpeg, mpg, xvid, divx, wmv, flv, avi, mp2, mp3, aif, Ogg Vorbis files.
