Serhiy Honchar hits the jackpot in the Tour de France

Serhiy Honchar, a 36 year old Ukrainian is currently the leader, winning stage seven by such a wide margin that he also took over the yellow jersey of the overall leader. He covered the 32.3 miles from the village of St.-Gregoire to the city of Rennes in Brittany in 1 hour, 1 minute, 43 seconds, averaging 31.4 mile an hour. He was 61 seconds faster than the second-place rider, Floyd Landis, 30, of the United States, the leader of the Phonak team from Switzerland.
